Provincial Incentives

SaskPower Net Metering Program

SaskPower’s Net Metering program gives customers the opportunity to generate their own power through renewable technologies and sell power they don’t use back to SaskPower at a rate of 7.5 cents per kWh.

Net Metering in Alberta

Under the Electric Utilities Act, the Micro-generation Regulation, allows Albertans to meet their own electricity needs by generating electricity from renewable or alternative energy sources.
